I'm happy that Kiandra put so much time and effort into this assignment....but disappointed at how much colouring "homework" my kids have in high school. (Seriously...my grade 1 friends don't colour as much as they do!)

School pictures finally arrived today...almost a month after Kiandra and Kezia got theirs back. I'm not entirely sure why the company gives teachers a free pack of photos??

The play that Kiandra has been practicing for opens today! In the next 4 days, they will perform 4 matinees and 4 evening shows. Instead of a bouquet of flowers, we got her a bouquet of fruit....the cat won't eat these AND it will promote healthy snacking over a period of grab and go suppers.

Kiandra and the rest of the cast heading into the school for the last Saturday practice before the play performances begin next week. She was there from 10:00 until almost 6:00.

Kaden had the chance to attend a "We Day" banquet as part of our school's leadership team. He was super pumped about meeting some of the speakers like Spencer West  –  but his highlight was drinking out of a champagne glass. "Mom! I had like 4 glasses!"
