The day began with quite a view today when I took Kezia out for lunch at the newly opened revolving restaurant...




...and ended with a view of Kaden's 3rd place medal in the Christmas Challenge hockey tournament.

Today Kezia decided she was going to wear these tights tomorrow for church but they had a small area where the seam was coming apart and so she used her sewing skills to fix it by herself.

Christmas Shopping with Kezia while Kaden was at hockey practice. We avoided the theatre area where Kiandra was out with her friend Chase to see the movie Frozen so that they wouldn't think we had followed them there. :)

I tried out some "finger cooking" by texting Kezia some ideas of what could be made for supper and she chose homemade potato wedges and burgers (patties were premade in the freezer). It was awesome to come home to supper that was ready to go on the table!

Finally Kaden has a doorknob again! Some one miscounted when we bought the knobs in the States and he had to wait until we went back to get a matching one.

Picking up Kezia from youth on a rainy Friday night -- with Kiandra babysitting and Kaden at hockey, she was the only one at the church this evening. With Kiandra having her license now, picking the kids up from youth may become a rarity.

The last place you'd expect to find Kiandra and Kezia...at their school's boys volleyball game. Our family friends from out of town were playing there and so our family went to watch the game. Unfortunately, this may have inspired Kaden to try out when he gets to high school.

Last game of the outdoor soccer season for Kezia ended in a 2-0 loss.
